Tiffin University (8-7) advanced to the GMAC Men's Tennis Championship with a 4-1 win over Walsh.

TU will take on Hillsdale at 3 pm for the title. TU previously lost to Hillsdale 4-1 on April 11.

TU won two of the three doubles matches to get the opening point. Hugo Chatras/Matthew Telford won by a 6-2 score, while Joe Gilman/Michael Gurtner posted a 6-3 victory. The sole loss came from Nair Adi/Matt Saunders in a 6-0 shutout.

In singles, TU got straight set victories from Adi (6-2, 6-1) and Telford (6-2, 6-4). The deciding contest came in a battle at 3rd singles, where Gilman posted a big 7-5, 7-5 win to give TU the victory.

Walsh's lone point came from Michael Gurtner's 6-2, 6-3 defeat.
