Tiffin University (7-7, 2-2 GMAC) came up short in a battle of regionally-ranked teams, falling to 5th-ranked Hillsdale 4-1.

TU (ranked 8th in the region) fell in all three doubles matches to open the match. Hugo Chatras/Matthew Telford and Joe Gilman/Nair Adi both fell by 6-4 scores, while Michael Gurtner/Gabriel de Oliveira fell 6-2.

Chatras got TU's lone win in singles play, winning a tough three-set match 4-6, 6-4, 6-3. 

All of TU's other singles losses went three sets. Adi fell 4-6, 6-2, 6-2, Gurtner lost 5-7, 6-3, 6-1, and Gilman lost 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.
