MIDLAND, Mich. - Tiffin men's tennis played their third match of the week on Sunday on the road at Northwood, falling to the Timberwolves in a close 4-3 affair.

Nikita Parfenov and Michael Gurtner were victorious at No. 1 doubles with a 6-4 win, but the Dragons fell in the other two doubles pairings to conceded the doubles point to Northwood.

In singles, Parfenov picked up another win 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1. Matthew Telford and Hugo Chatras also earned wins, with Telford taking No. 3 singles 6-1, 6-2 and Chatras picking up a come-from-behind 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 win.

The Dragons would fall in the other three singles matches, however, as Northwood took the 4-3 win.

The men will now look to next Saturday when they face Ashland in Lexington at the Lakewood Racquet Club.
