Tiffin University (8-4-4, 6-4-3 GMAC) outshot Malone and only allowed two shots on goal over 110 minutes but settled for a 2-2 draw on the road.

Tiffin's two shots on goal allowed were in the first 19 minutes of the game, and the Pioneers scored on both of them. After Leo Hasenstab took a Caleb Gibbons pass and opened scoring in the 9th minute to give TU the early 1-0 lead, Malone equalized and then took the lead on their only two shots on goal on the day.

Leading 2-1 at halftime, Hasenstab got TU even in the 48th minute on an unassisted goal. 

Tiffin got numerous shots off over the remainder of the second half but only one was on goal. Hasenstab had a shot in the 88th minute but it was saved to send the game into overtime.

With 24 seconds remaining in the second overtime, Martijn Kuijs got another shot on goal, but it was stopped to preserve the draw.

Overall TU outshot Malone 18-9, including 8-2 on goal.

Dylan Morris made no saves and allowed two goals over 110 minutes.
