Tiffin University (4-3-2, 3-1-1 GLIAC) took on Northwood in a first place showdown in the GLIAC but came up just short in a 1-0 defeat.

The Dragons largely dominated the second half, outshooting Northwood 10-4. TU had only two shots on goal in the half, including on at the buzzer by Abdoul Magid Sy that was saved by Northwood's team to preserve the victory.

The lone goal was scored by James Vaughan on a penalty kick in the 29th minute.

Overall TU outshot Northwood 13-10 while the Timberwolves held a slight 7-6 lead in corner kicks. 

Cary Wilson took the loss for TU, making 2 saves over 90 minutes.
