Tiffin University (1-5) stayed in the game but could not get the offense on the board, falling to Fort Wayne 2-0 on the road.

TU trailed 1-0 at the half after giving up a goal on a header in the 19th minute but could not equalize. The Mastodons got an insurance goal in the 67th minute to put the game away.

Overall TU was outshot 25-11, including 16-5 on shots on goal. Fort Wayne also had 7 corner kicks while holding the Dragons to just 1 corner.
