Tiffin University improved to 11-7 with a doubleheader sweep of Davis & Elkins on the road, winning game one 5-1 and game two 8-0 in five innings.

In the opener, the Dragons gave up a run in the first inning and waited until the top of the 7th before responding. In that final frame TU tallied 5 runs to put the game away. Jena King singled home Jamie Sevenish to tie the score, which was then followed by Libby Crow's 3 run triple for the gamewinning RBIs.

Sarah Brown tossed the final 4.2 innings in relief of Kelsey Yaratch for the win, allowing just 2 hits with 6 strikeouts and no runs scored.

King had 2 hits along with Michelle Poe, with Poe adding a double. Crow had a triple for 3 RBI while Sevenish also had a triple.

In game two, TU wasted no time getting on the board, scoring multiple runs in all but the second inning. TU got two runs in the first inning on Poe'ss two-run bomb, and the offense rolled from there.

TU, which had 10 hits, was led by Cassandra Brown with 2 hits including a double, while Sevenish had a double and triple for 2 RBI. Allyson Rock also had 2 hits with a double and RBI, while Poe had a two-run home run.

Kimmy Reynolds got the victory, going 4 innings and allowing just 4 hits, while Tiffany Snell finished up the combined shutout with the final inning in relief.
