A sollid first half did not carry over to the second half, as TU squandered a 1-0 halftime advantage to fall to Lake Erie 2-1 for their first loss of the season.
The Dragons (3-1-2, 1-1 GLIAC) got a goal in the 36th minute, as Matthew Tait took a rebounded cross from Charlie Rolls to give TU the halftime lead. At the break TU held a 10-3 shot edge.
But the Dragons came apart in the final 20 minutes, as Nolan Do Nascimento took a TU turnover and buried a shot to the left side of the net to tie the score 1-1 in the 72nd minute.
Lake Erie took the lead for good when Stuart Campbell took a corner kick and knocked it home in the 77th minute. The Dragons could not equalize over the remaining 13 minutes.
Kyle Karagitz took the loss in goal, making 3 saves over 90 minutes. Overall TU held a 19-9 shot advantage and a 6-2 lead in corners.
