Tiffin University's Oliver Verdult has been named GLIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Verdult led a rock solid Dragons defense in their 2-0 week, posting back-to-back shutouts over Heidelberg 1-0 and Findlay 2-0. TU's defense allowed just two shots on goal along with one corner kick to the Oilers while holding Heidelberg to just three shots on goal. Verdult also notched the first goal of the contest against Findlay. The Dragons are currently 3-0-1 and have posted three consecutive shutouts.
