Tiffin University could not find the winning formula in its Homecoming game against Malone, falling 2-1 in double overtime on a goal scored with less than 30 seconds to play.

Malone's Sam Tonelli took a cross in the center of the box and scored to end the game in the 110th minute. The loss drops TU to 4-4-2, 2-4 in the GLIAC.

Malone opened scoring in the 58th minute but Tiffin equalized in the 75th minute on a goal by Scott Byrom off a cross from Matthew Tait. TU, which held a 11-1 edge in corner kicks, had a couple chances in regulation to win but two shots by Spencer Wood were saved to send the game to overtime.

The only shot on goal by either team in the two overtime periods was the gamewinner for Malone.

Kyle Karagitz took the loss in goal, making 4 saves.
