Tiffin University (1-0) opened its season with a 2-0 victory over Davis & Elkins College, taking advantage of two second half goals in a game halted with 11 minutes remaining due to lightning.

After a scoreless first half, Andre Landell knocked home a goal in the 65th minute on a pass from Daniel Fallon. TU wasted little time expanding their lead, as Smart Osadolor tallied another goal one minute later off a pass from Ian Jacobs to put the Dragons up by a pair of goals.

Jeremy Ashley got the win in goal, posting a shutout.
