Tiffin University (4-0-1, 3-0 GLIAC) posted its second shutout of the week, holding Lake Erie to just 2 shots on goal in a 2-0 victory.
The Dragons, ranked 19th in the latest NSCAA poll, outshot the Storm 17-8 and only allowed one shot in the second half. Lake Erie had no shots on goal over the final 45 minutes.
Michael Bottomley got the Dragons on the board in the 25th minute, taking a pass from Andre Landell to make it 1-0 at halftime.
Landell then got his second assist of the day, taking a free kick and finding Michael McPeek for a header goal in the 65th minute.
Jeremy Ashley got the win in goal, making 2 saves over 90 minutes with his second shutout of the week.
