Tiffin University (19-7) dropped a heartbreaker at Oberlin 5-4, with Caroline Nelhage falling for the first time this season in singles play in the deciding match.

Nelhage, who falls to 23-1 this year in singles play, had two match points up 9-7 in the third set tiebreaker but could not pull it out, falling 6-4, 1-6, 11-9. Nelhage remains unbeaten in doubles play, winning with teammate Chelsea Beck 8-0 in their 25th straight win.

Valentina Mazzola won 6-4, 6-1, Rachelmary Brozovich won 6-4, 6-2, and Abigail Schuster posted a 6-0, 6-0 win in singles to account for TU's four points. The Dragons lost close doubles matches, as Schuster/Brozovich lost 9-7 and Malaika Mess/Mazzola fell 8-4.

Messi and Beck also fell in straight sets in their singles matches.
