Tiffin University Women's Soccer battled undefeated Michigan Tech to the end before falling 1-0. The two teams played even soccer until the 77 minute mark before a goal was scored.

The 2 teams played an even first half that resulted in a 0-0 tie. The Huskies were the aggressor in the first half taking 12 shots to Tiffin's 2. Of the 12 shots 4 were on goal and the Dragons had 1 on goal. Tiffin committed 7 fouls in the opening half to Michigan Tech's 1.

Half number 2 started as half 1 did with neither team finding the back of the net. That changed at 77:05 of the first half when Jacqueline Mielke deflected a shot from 5 yards out for the game's only goal. For the game Michigan Tech outshot the Dragons 32-6. Samantha Ortenzi saved 13 of 14 shots on goal for Tiffin.

Tiffin falls to 2-12, 1-7 GLIAC. Michigan Tech improves to 9-1-1, 7-0-1 GLIAC. The Dragons will be back in action this Friday at 3 pm when they host Northwood. Friday's contest can be seen and heard here.
