Tiffin University (7-2-1, 6-2 GLIAC), ranked 16th in the NSCAA poll, failed to generate the necessary offense against Lake Erie, as the Storm avenged an earlier 2-0 loss to the Dragons by beating TU on their home field 3-0.

With just 20 seconds remaining in the first half, the Storm got a huge momentum boost when Joseph Munaretto took Stuart Campbell's rebound shot and scored to give Lake Erie a 2-0 halftime edge.
The Strom put the game away in the 69th minute when Alfred Majer took a cross from Campbell and scored another goal.
Despite getting outshot overall 20-13 by the Dragons, the Storm made the most of their chances, as each team put 7 shots on goal. Jeremy Ashley made 4 saves over 90 minutes in taking the loss.
