Tiffin University (1-0) got an early goal and then allowed its defense to completely shut down Davis & Elkins, as the Dragons posted a 1-0 triumph in their season opener at Paradiso Fields.

Smart Osadolor scored the winning goal just 2:16 into the game, driving home a shot into the left side of the goal after a two-touch pass from Alex Tuliraba and Calin Vadan.

Tiffin's defense then took over, holding the Senators to just 5 total shots (none on goal), and only one shot in the second half. Overall TU outshot the Senators 13-5 while also holding a 7-2 edge in corner kicks.

Jeremy Ashley got the win in goal, playing 90 minutes while making no saves.
