Tiffin University freshman Caroline Nelhage (Lindome, Sweden) earned GLIAC Women's Tennis "Athlete of the Week" honors after helping the Dragons to a 3-0 start in GLIAC play to open the 2013 season.

Tiffin University freshman Caroline Nelhage remains unbeaten this year in singles and doubles play as she helped the Dragons open 3-0 in GLIAC play. Nelhage posted singles victories over the Huskies, 6-0, 6-2, the Lakers, 6-1, 6-3, and the Cardinals, 6-1, 6-2. She then teamed up with Chelsea Beck to post three more wins in doubles, defeating Michigan Tech 8-4, Lake Superior State 8-4, and Saginaw Valley 9-7. Tiffin's win over the Cardinals was their first victory over Saginaw Valley.
