Tiffin University came back repeatedly against Chowan, coming from behind to pull out three matches and clip Chowan 5-4 for the win.

The deciding match came at sixth singles, where Cassie Dye pulled out a 6-2, 0-6, 10-2 victory. At second doubles, Renee Mattson/Nicole Ardner were down 6-3 but battled back to win 9-7, while Abigail Schuster/Dye trailed 7-4 and also came back to win 9-7.

Also getting wins for TU were Malaika Bora Messi 6-3 (ret.) and Valentina Mazzola 6-2, 6-2. Messi/Mazzola dropped a hard fought doubles match 8-6, while TU's other singles matches were straight set losses.
