Tiffin University (10-2-2, 8-2-2 GLIAC) spent most of the first half dominating the stat sheet, outshooting Walsh 16-2 and holding a 6-0 edge in corner kicks.
Problem was, they still trailed 1-0 at the half.
The Dragons regrouped in the second half, turning up the intensity and pressure en route to scoring two second half goals and beating the Cavaliers 2-1 to remain in the hunt for first place in the GLIAC with one week left in the regular season.
Walsh got on the board with their first shot, scoring in the 3rd minute to hold a 1-0 lead. They held that lead until the 65th minute, when Tiffin's Karl Jones got his own rebound and drilled it home to knot the score at 1-1.
Six minutes later, Alex Tuliraba crossed the ball over to Andre Landell in front of the Cavaliers' goal. Landell scored the gamewinner for the Dragons in the 71st minute.
Jeremy Ashley got the win in goal, making 3 saves.
TU outshot Walsh 33-8 and held the Cavaliers to just 4 shots on goal. They also had a 10-3 edge in corners.
