Tiffin University's Karl Jones blasted home a shot into the right side of the net in the 107th minute, helping the Dragons (9-2-2, 7-2-2 GLIAC) sneak past the scrappy Malone Pioneers 1-0 in double overtime at Paradiso Fields.

Despite holding a 31-10 shot advantage, the Dragons had been unable to put a goal on the board heading into the final overtime period. Only 7 of the 31 shots were on goal. But TU's persistence paid off, as Michael McPeek took the ball down the right side and sent it into the middle for Jones, who spun and shot the gamewinning goal past goalkeeper Felipe Monteiro.

TU also held a 7-2 corner kick edge. Jeremy Ashley got the win in goal, making 2 saves. The Dragons defense held Malone to just 10 shots, only 2 on goal.
