HOUGHTON, Mich. - A late goal saw the Tiffin University women's soccer team (3-4-2, 1-2-2 GLIAC) lose 1-0 to Michigan Tech (7-2, 5-0 GLIAC), Sunday afternoon at Sherman Field.

With less than 17 minutes to go, Katie Boardman scored to allow the Huskies to remain undefeated in league play.

Tiffin had six shots, three on goal and was called for 11 fouls. Sophomore Hayley Coppola had nine saves.

Michigan Tech had 22 shots, 10 on goal, five corner kicks and was called for seven fouls.

Tiffin remains on the road, Friday, Oct. 5, taking on Notre Dame College. The game is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
