O'Neill scored the gamewinner off a pass from Ashton Campbell, who returned after missing two games due to injury.
The two squads had battled throughout regulation and the first overtime, with TU goalkeeper Jeremy Ashley making 6 saves over 103 minutes. He got the win in goal and posted another shutout in the process.
The Dragons held a 9-6 edge in first half shooting but the Panthers reversed the momentum in the second half, outshooting TU 9-5. ODU managed just one shot in the first overtime, but Ashley made the save to send the game into overtime number two.
The win improves TU to 4-2-1 overall, 2-2-1 in the GLIAC. The loss is ODU's first in conference play (2-1).
