Tiffin University came back but could not take the lead, as they fell at Michigan Tech 2-1 in a close GLIAC matchup.

The Huskies opened scoring in the 15th minute when Ari Peterson put a shot into the top of the box over goalkeeper Denise Resende, giving MTU a 1-0 halftime edge.

The Dragons equalized in the 61st minute when Ashley Davis stole the ball at the 40 yard line and dribbled into the box and put the ball into the left corner of the net.

The Huskies took the lead for good in the 68th minute when Melanie Hoffman drilled a shot off a rebound off of Resende into the net.

Michigan Tech outshot TU 14-10 in the game. Resende made one save in the game over 90 minutes.
