Tiffin University's men's soccer team dominated play from start to finish in a 4-0 shutout of Ohio Valley, with
Ashton Campbell and
Edison Benda tallying two goals apiece to lead the team.
Tiffin held a commanding 26-5 shot advantage, putting 14 total shots on goal. Campbell led the way with 5 shots, followed by Benda's 4 and
Michael O'Neill's 4 shots.
TU opened scoring in the 4th minute when Campbell took a touch pass in the box from
Rhys Cannella and tapped it into the right side of the goal for the quick 1-0 lead.
Campbell put another one in the net in the 8th minute, this time driving home a rebound off a shot from
Pierre De Pauw from point blank range for the 2-0 halftime lead.
Benda got on the board in the 50th minute, again smashing a rebound from a De Pauw shot to make it 3-0, and then finished scoring in the 73rd minute off a cross from O'Neill that he one-touched into the net around the keeper.
