Tiffin University (4-1) got a shutout in their GLIAC opener at Findlay, winning 2-0. Jeff Frisch played 90 minutes in goal for the shutout, making 3 saves. Bryce Hixon opened scoring in the 39th minute off a lead pass across on the right from Michael O'Neill. Adam Fussell then added an insurance goal in the 75th minute. TU outshot the Oilers 12-9.
