Tiffin University dropped a tough game to Ashland University 2-1 in a big GLIAC matchup. The Dragons fell behind in the 8th minute as the Eagles scored off a free kick. TU would tie the game in the 55th minute when Tony Iyayi headed in Paul Brodnick's free kick. The tie would be short lived, however, as Asland scored in the 57th minute to take a 2-1 lead that they never relinquished.

The Dragons outshot Ashland 16-10. Michael O'Neill took five shots for the Dragons while Adam Fussell, Chad Kulchar, Rhys Cannella and Iyayi each took two. The Dragons also held a 11-2 advantage on corner kicks.

Jeff Frisch played 90 minutes in goal, making three saves. The loss drops the Drasgons to 10-4-1 while improving Ashland's record to 9-2-5.
