Biography

2019:

Played and started in 19 games...had a big year, tallying 44 goals with 11 assists for 55 points...also had 11 ground balls and 87 draws while forcing 13 turnovers...First Team All G-MAC pick...second on the team in goals, points, and draws...is 10th in career goals for TU.

2018:

Batley started 16 games and appeared in 17 for the Dragons, scoring 20 goals and dishing out 10 assists. She also finished with 50 draw controls (thrid on team) and 11 caused turnovers. Maddy had a couple of standout games for Tiffin, recording a career-high 11 draw controls at Northern Michigan on 3/25 and notching five points (three goals, two assists) at McKendree on 4/13. At the end of the season, Batley was honored as a member of the IWLCA Zag Sports DII Academic Honor Roll.

2017:

Batley was a steady contributor for Tiffin, seeing action in 14 games. She scored 10 goals, and finished with three assists for 13 points. 

2016:

Maddy played in 17 games, starting in 7. She scored 11 goals, added four assists, and totaled 15 points. 

Personal:

Maddy is the daughter of Jaime Batley and Christina Davis. She has three siblings, Connor, Chase, and Jessica. Maddy intends to major in Psychology.

High School:

Maddy graduated from Holy Cross Secondary School. While attending, she was an OFSAA Gold Medalist. In the classroom, she excelled as well, earning the Ontario Scholar award at graduation.
