Kayla is a native of Springboro, Ohio and is majoring in Forensic Science, She is the daughter of Don Ropos and Vicki O'Neil.

Kayla graduated from Springboro High School. While attending, she was team captain her senior season, 2-time 1st team All-District, and was a 2nd team All-District selection her senior season.
