2018-19:
Schirmer concluded her Tiffin career with another great season as the Dragons' point guard, playing in all 28 games and starting 22. She averaged 8.3 points per game, 2.1 rebounds per game, and led the team with 3.3 assists per game. Her assist mark ranked seventh in the GMAC, and she was also tied for fifth in the conference with an assist/turnover ratio of 1.3. Schirmer tallied a season-high 21 points at Indianapolis on 11/25. In the Tiffin record books, she finishes her career third with 192 made three-pointers, sixth with a 35.6 three-point percentage, first with an 86.9 free throw percentage, seventh with 277 assists, 11th with 1,119 points, and tied for eight with 108 games played.
2017-18:
Schirmer was the go-to player for the Dragons in her junior season, starting all 28 games for the Dragons and recording the most minutes played per game (30.4) of anyone on the team. She led Tiffin in scoring with 11.6 points per game, shooting 37.4% from the field, 36.5% from deep, and 94.1% from the charity stripe. On 12/2 at Lake Superior State, she tallied a season-high 24 points while grabbing six rebounds. She also recorded a double-double at Northern Michigan on 1/4 with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
2016-17:
Schirmer remained a consistent threat in her sophomore campaign, playing in all 25 games and finishing second on the team with 10.4 points per game. She recorded a season-high 20 points on two occasions, at Ferris State (12/19) and at Findlay (2/16). She also shot an incredible 91.4% from the free throw line.
2015-16:
Ali Schirmer played in all 27 games, starting 22. Schirmer's freshman season was very productive, averaging 11.5 points per game and 2.9 rebounds per contest. Ali was the primary guard for the Dragons, averaging 2.5 assists per game. Ali shot 39% from the field, 38% from beyond the arc, and 81% from the free throw line.
Personal:
Ali is the daughter of Timothy and Lisa Schirmer. She has three siblings, Alex, Andrew, and Adam. Schirmer intends to major in Psychology.
High School:
Ali graduated from Ursuline Academy. While attending, she was a 3-time 2nd team All-Conference selection, and was a 1st team All-Conference selection her senior season.
