2022:
Klein made 25 appearances, started 18 games with 8 wins and 9 losses… tossed 102.1 innings, fanning 83 with a 4.99 ERA. She was named TU Scholar-Athlete of Year as well as GMAC Elite 25 recipient...She currently ranks fourth in TU's Division II record book in wins and complete games and is 5th in strikeouts.
2021:
Klein made 13 appearances, started four games with two wins and three losses with one save… tossed 20.2 innings, fanning 15 (5.08 per 7 Inn.) with a 9.15 ERA.
2019:
Made 31 appearances, starting 25 games and leading the team with 17 wins against 11 losses with 2 saves...tossed 179.2 innings, fanning 129 (5.03 per 7 inn.) with a 2.49 ERA...earned Second Team All G-MAC selection...placed high in the G-MAC standings, finishing 2nd in wins and innings pitched while posting 5th in strikeouts and 6th in ERA.
Personal:
Sarah is from Ashville, Ohio and is the daughter of Tony and Amy Klein. She has one sibling, Trevor, and is majoring in Criminalistics with a minor in Digital Forensics.
High School:
Sarah graduated from Teays Valley High School, where she lettered three years in softball and basketball and one year in cross country. She was a two-time First Team All Mid-State League and First Team All-Central District, while her team was a two-time State Final Four participant and the D1 State Champion. Academically, she carried a 4.0 GPA and was a member of the National Honor Society.
