Biography

2022-23:

McCarthy played in 16 games with 15 starts. He posted career-highs in both goals with four and assists with two for a total of 10 points. McCarthy was also named First Team All-GMAC.

2021-22:

George played in 15 games and started 14 of them. He recorded 2 goals and 1 assist. He was also named Third Team All GMAC.

2020-21:

McCarthy was an important member of the Dragon defense appearing in nine games and starting in six. He recorded an assist and two shots on goal.

2019:

Played and started in all 21 games.

2018:

Played and started all 18 games...posted 2 assists.

Personal:

George is the son of Duncan and Kirsten McCarthy. He has one sibling and is majoring in Communications with a minor in Marketing.
