P.J. Derksen enters his first season as a Graduate Assistant for the Tiffin University Men’s Soccer Program in 2025-26.
In this role, he assists with the development of student-athletes both on and off the field, with a primary focus on goalkeeper training.
Before joining Tiffin, Derksen was a four-year starter at goalkeeper for the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown (2021–2024). During his career at UPJ, he ranked among the NCAA leaders in saves per game, finishing in the top 20 all four years (including two seasons in the top 10). In the summer months, he continues his playing career with AFC Ohio of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL).
Currently, Derksen is pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at Tiffin University.
