2018-19:
Waldon concluded his Tiffin career with another great season, starting in all 28 games and averaging 15.4 points per game (2nd on team) and 7.2 rebounds per game (led team). He also shot 58.4% from the field and recorded 1.0 assists per game, 1.1 steals per game, and 1.3 blocks per game. In the GMAC, Waldon was 14th in scoring, ninth in rebounding, first in field goal percentage, and fifth in blocks. The senior scored in double figures in all but three games, including each of the first 16, with his season-high of 26 coming on 1/5 at Malone. He also tallied 10 or more rebounds in seven games, earning a double-double in each. After his two season at Tiffin, Waldon finishes his career seventh with a 54.9 field goal percentage and seventh with 61 blocks.
2017-18:
Waldon saw success in his first year in a Dragon uniform, starting 19 games and averaging 8.2 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game. He scored in double figures in 14 games for the Dragons, and had his best game of the year against Lambton on 12/19, scoring 21 points and recording a pair of blocks.
Personal:
Shane is a native of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and has two siblings. Both of his sisters played college basketball at Chicago State.
Madison College:
Shane was a standout at Madison College, earning the highest distinction ever by a Madison College basketball player with a NJCAA 1st Team All-American selection. He was a Region IV Player of the Week, a 1st team NCCCC selection, a All-NJCCA Region IV selection, and was an All-NJCAA Region IV All-Tournament selection. As a member of the Wolfpack, Shane played and started in 27 games, averaging 17.6 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game. He was a force from the field, hitting 60.8% of his field goal attempts.
