Biography

2018-19:

Williams hit the ground running in his first season with the Dragons, starting 26 games and playing in all 28, and leading the team with 17.5 points per game (5th in the GMAC). He attempted 5.8 free throws per game and made 3.9, leading to the sixth-most attempts in a single-season in TU history (162) and the ninth-most makes (108). Williams also averaged 3.5 rebounds per game (4th on team), 1.9 assists per game (4th on team), and 1.5 steals per game (tied for 1st on team, tied for 7th in GMAC). The sophomore scored in double figures in all but five games and tallied more than 20 points nine times. His season-high came on 12/14 against Cedarville, when Williams notched 34 points on 11-18 shooting from the field and 5-9 from deep. That performance followed his other 30-pt game of the season when he registered 31 in a win over Trevecca Nazarene on 12/8. 

Previous:

Williams is a transfer from the Community College of Rhode Island, where he was a 2018 NJCAA Division II Third Team All-American selection. While at CCRI, Williams averaged 22 points per game, five assists per game, and five rebounds per game, including a school record 56-point outburst in February 2018.
