Zach Hendrick joins the Tiffin University men's basketball staff for the 2026-27 season as an Assistant Coach after serving as a Graduate Assistant at Old Dominion University.
While at ODU, Hendrick contributed to all aspects of the program, including player development, scouting, recruiting, game preparation, and team operations. He also assisted with travel logistics, donor engagement, summer camps, and presented scouting reports during team film sessions.
Prior to Old Dominion, Hendrick spent four seasons with the Virginia Tech men's basketball program, including two years as the Head Student Manager. He was a member of the Hokies' staff that captured the 2022 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament Championship, helping Virginia Tech earn its first ACC Tournament title. During his time in Blacksburg, he supervised and mentored a staff of student managers, assisted with film breakdown and analytics, participated in coaching staff meetings, and helped coordinate the Hokies' international team trip to Europe. He also played a key role in practice preparation, game-day operations, and evaluating video analysis technology.
A native of Monroe, North Carolina, Hendrick earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management with concentrations in Consulting & Analytics from Virginia Tech before completing his Master of Public Administration at Old Dominion University.
