Zach is an Exercise Science major from Spencerville, Ohio. Goecke is the son of John and Marci, and has four siblings, including former Dragon football player Derek. He is majoring in Exercise Science.

Zach is a Spencerville High School graduate, and 1st team All-State and All-Conference running back. Goecke was also a 1,000 point scorer on the basketball court.
