Jaron is from Kenton, Ohio and is the son of C.J. and Kiley Sharp. He has one sibling and is majoring in Business at Tiffin.

High School:

At Kenton High School, Jaron was First Team All-State in both football and basketball in 2017-18 and 2018-19. He was the District Player of the Year for football in 2018-19 and holds his high school's single-game scoring record in basketball of 47 points.
