Matt Whitton enters his first season with Tiffin University in 2025. He serves as assistant defensive backs coach.
Whitton spent last season at McKendree University where he served as the Cornerbacks coach. While at McKendree he coached a secondary with two All Conference players that led the GLVC in interceptions (14), including cornerback Keshawn Lyons who was #11 in Division II in passes broken up (12).
Prior to Mckendree, Whitton was a student assistant at The University of Indianapolis working with the Running Backs and Defensive Backs from 2021 to 2024.Â
Whitton holds a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management from The University of Indianapolis.
