Jordan Armstrong enters his second season with the Tiffin University football coaching staff in 2025-26. He serves as tight ends coach.
Armstrong most recently coached at Olivet Nazarene University as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2023-24. Armstrong coordinated an offense that led the MSFA West in total offense, points per game, touchdowns, passing touchdowns, passing yards per game, passing efficiency, and 4th down percentage. The Tigers finished the season with a 6-4 record.
Prior to that he was the passing game coordinator and wide receiver coach at East Texas Baptist University in 2022, before being promoted to offensive coordinator in the spring of 2023. In 2022 at East Texas Baptist, Armstrong coordinated a passing attack that threw for over 1,800 yards and scored 43 points in their final game of the season. In Armstrong's lone season at ETBU, the Tigers went 5-5 and closed out the season on a three-game winning streak.
He served as a graduate assistant for the ONU Tigers from 2019-2021, where he worked primarily with wide receivers. During his first coaching run at ONU, Armstrong helped the Tigers to their best record in program history in 2020. That year's squad went 8-1, winning the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Midwest League Conference Championship outright and qualifying for the NAIA National Playoffs for the first time in over 20 years.
In two seasons at ONU, six of Armstrong's wide receivers earned All-MSFA awards while Jalen Dunnigan and Brian Jenkins both earned All-American honors.
Armstrong played collegiate football at NCAA Division II Fairmont State University as a defensive back, appearing in 23 games over three seasons for the Falcons. A three-time All-Dade County selection at Felix Varela Senior High School, Armstrong set the school passing record with over 3,000 passing yards over his career. He also rushed for over 1,000 yards while scoring over 40 career touchdowns.
Armstrong graduated from Fairmont State University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Communications. He then earned his Master's of Organizational Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University in 2021.
Armstrong, his wife Haley, and son Shai reside in Tiffin.
