Biography

2025: Played in all 53 games and started 52... Batted .350 and led the team in hits (69) and doubles (17)... Also hit 2 triples, 2 home runs, and 27 RBI... Walked 26 times and scored 52 runs... Named CSC Academic All-District and was named First Team All-G-MAC... Named NCBWA All-Midwest Region Second Team.

2024: Batted .306 and played in 49 games with 48 starts. Recorded 49 hits, nine doubles, one triple, two home runs, and had 24 RBI. Scored 45 runs and drew 29 walks. 

2023: Batted .283 and played in 37 games with 35 starts. Recorded 32 hits, six doubles, two home runs, and 17 RBI. Scored 18 runs and walked 18 times.

2022: Ty appeared in 10 games for the Dragons, hitting .182 with 3 runs.

Personal:

Ty is the son of John and Heidi Hatfield and has three siblings. He is majoring in Accounting. He is a 2nd Team All-Ohio baseball player as well as Mount Vernon News baseball player of the year. Academically he is K-MAC All Academic honoree.
