Personal:

Tim is the son of Tim and Carrie Benner. Tim is double majoring in Forensic Psychology and Homeland Security and Terrorism.

High School:

Tim graduated from Walsh Jesuit High School. While attending, Tim was a 4-time letterman in baseball. Tim received the Most-Improved Player award his junior season. He would be named Reliever of the Year as a junior and senior. Tim is tied for the lead in all-time saves at Walsh Jesuit. Benner was named to the Mizuno All-Ohio team, 1st team All-District, and was 2nd team All North Coast League.
