Personal:
Scotty is the son of Steve and Karen Adelman and has two siblings. He is majoring in Accounting. He is a 2021 First Team All Ohio pitcher who also earned 2021 District 9 Player of the Year, and 2021 Firelands Conference Pitcher of the Year. He is a 3-time Firelands Conference Champion. In the OHSAA record books he is 16th in most stolen bases in a season (45 in 2021) and 3rd in most stolen bases in a game (6 in 2021). He finished in the Top 10 of his class and is a National Honor Society Member.
