Biography

2016:

Fernando saw significant playing time, appearing in 16 games and starting in 13. Nieto finished with a .277 batting average in 47 plate appearances. Fernando collected 13 hits, 8 RBI's, and scored 10 runs. Nieto was a solid backstop for Tiffin, committing only one error. For his work in the classroom, Fernando was selected to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence team.

Personal:

Fernando is the son of Victor and Elinor Nieto. He has three siblings, two brothers and a sister. Nieto is majoring in International Business.

High School:

Fernando was a 4-time All-State selection, and was a batting average champion while being named to an All-Star game.
