Jamal is the son of Anthony and Sharon Slappy. He has two siblings, Adam and Aaliyah. Jamal intends to major in Human Resources Management. 

High School:

Jamal graduated from Centennial High School. While attending, he was named to the football All-City 1st and 2nd team, 1st team All-District, 3rd team All-Ohio, and All-Metro Honorable Mention.
