Biography

2016:

Jawan played in 10 games for the Dragons, registering 45 tackles. Nelson logged 1.5 tackles for loss and had an interception. 

2015:

Jawan had an outstanding season, playing in all 11 games, but began seeing major time after an injury in the defensive secondary against Malone. From that game on, Nelson racked up 59 tackles in seven games to finish 2nd on the team in total tackles. Jawan collected three tackles for loss, and snagged his first collegiate interception against Wayne State (Oct. 3).
