Biography

2015:

Loyd played in all 11 games for the Dragons. Morgan was the field general for the TU defense, making 51 tackles, a team high 9.5 tackles for loss, and 4.0 sacks. Loyd was named to the All-GLIAC Honorable Mention Team for his performance on the field. Off the field, Loyd was even better, being honored with a CoSIDA 1st Team Academic All-American selection.

2014:

Morgan played in all 11 games this past season. He tallied 35 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks.

High school career:

Played at Dacula High School in Georgia.  Loyd was a team captain, a four-year letterman in football and a three-year letterman in baseball. 

Played last season for the North Dakota State College of Science. Was named to the All-Iowa Community College Association second team last season. Recorded 90 tackles with 6.5 tackles for loss and three sacks. 

Personal:

Son of Steve and Janice Loyd. Intends to major in Athletic Administration.
