2016:
Anchored an offensive line that allowed 10 less sacks than the season before. The Dragons run production saw an increase as well, rushing for 2,217 yards and 20 touchdowns. Thanks to the offensive line, ball carriers averaged 5.8 yards per carry, and the team averaged 201.5 rushing yards per game.
2015:
Mason played in all 11 games, and was selected to the All-GLIAC Honorable Mention Team for the second time in his career. Butler aided an offensive line that set new program records in passing yards, passing touchdowns, first downs, and total yardage. Mason and the rest of the offensive line improved the Dragon ground game by 535-yards, and 48-yards per game.
2014:
Mason had an outstanding freshman season, starting at center for the majority of the Dragons games, and earning an All-GLIAC Honorable Mention selection.
High school career:
Butler was named to the All-Northeastern Buckeye Conference First Team last season.
Personal:
Son of Kathy Butler. His sister plays Division 1 college basketball. Intends to major in Exercise Science.
