HENRYVILLE, Ind. - The Tiffin University women's golf team teed off for the first time this season on Tuesday, playing 36 holes at the UIndy Women's Golf Fall Invitational.
Through 36, the Dragons currently sit 10th out of 13 teams with a 36-hole total of 649. Following a 331 in the first 18, the Dragons bettered their score by 13 strokes in the second round by recording a 318.
Primross Chikwaya is in sixth place following round one and round two scores of 73. Louise Hedstrom opened with a 77 in round one and followed it up with an 80 in the second round and is currently tied for 31st.
Madalyn Murphy is 57th through two rounds following scores of 92 and 82. Nicasia Chase and Peyton Biery are both tied for 59th. Biery recorded an 89 in round one and an 87 in round two, while Chase opened with a 93 in the first round and recorded an 83 in the second round.
Karolyna Adams, making her collegiate debut, registered a 91 in both the first and second rounds.
The Dragons will tee off tomorrow morning to finish their season-opening tournament.
