TIFFIN, Ohio - Competing at Hedges-Boyer Park, the site of the 2026 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships, the Tiffin University women's cross country team turned in a strong performance on Friday evening, placing second at the G-MAC Preview Meet. The Dragons scored 65 points, trailing only Ashland's winning total of 22 points while finishing ahead of Hillsdale, Malone, Ohio State Running Club, Walsh, and Lake Erie.

Junior
Ally Denny paced the Dragons with a third-place finish in the 6K race, crossing the line in 22:53.0. Freshman
Niamh Robinson also delivered a top-five performance, placing fifth overall in 23:08.5 as Tiffin placed two runners among the top five finishers.

Sophomore
Abbie Felske gave the Dragons three runners inside the top 11, finishing 11th overall with a time of 23:52.6. Freshman
Laura Franks was the fourth scoring runner across the line for Tiffin, placing 18th in 24:29.8.

Senior
Caitlin Weitzel rounded out the Dragons' scoring five, placing 30th overall with a time of 25:15.8. Freshman
Quinlyn Spearman (25:40.2) and freshman
Makiah Gurney (25:51.7) also finished among Tiffin's top seven runners, taking 33rd and 34th, respectively. Additional finishers for Tiffin included

The Dragons will look to build off this performance and will return to action on Saturday, October 10 at the Lucian Rosa Invitational in Kenosha, Wisconsin at 12 p.m. (11 a.m. CT).
