TIFFIN, Ohio - The Tiffin University men's cross country team successfully defended its home course on Friday evening, claiming the team championship at the G-MAC Preview Meet held at Hedges-Boyer Park. The Dragons totaled 33 points to finish ahead of runner-up Ashland (50) and third-place Malone (70).
Tiffin placed five runners among the top 14 finishers and showcased exceptional depth en route to the victory. Junior
Liam Stone led the Dragons with a runner-up finish in the 8K race, crossing the line in 24:31.8. He was followed closely by junior
Gauthier Simon, who placed sixth overall in 24:45.6.
Senior
Isaac Houghton finished seventh overall in 24:47.2, while junior
Lilo Dalibon took eighth in 24:48.7 to give Tiffin four runners inside the top eight. Freshman
Nathan Eminian rounded out the scoring five with a 14th-place finish in 25:02.2.
Sophomore
Scott Temple provided additional depth with a 17th-place finish in 25:22.1, while junior
Erwan Rostan placed 20th in 25:29.8. The Dragons' top five runners were separated by just 31 seconds, highlighting the team's pack-running approach throughout the race.

The Dragons were ranked No. 27 in the latest USTFCCCA National Rankings and were No. 5 in the Midwest Region as they'll look to build off this strong performance when they return to action at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational on Friday, October 2 at 10:30 a.m.
